Introducing our new 5.56. & .30 cal drill fixtures. Designed to be used with our 5.56/30 cal kits, this fixture allows for easy drilling of your approved Form 1 internals. Utilizing a hardened steel drill bushing this fixture will give you years of use.
Included in this kit:
(1) Top fixture
(1) Bottom Fixture
(3) Set sets of nuts and bolts
Options:
(1) 9/32 Cobalt Drill Bit -mcmaster PN# 28765A26 (for 5.56 /.223)
(1) 25/64″ Cobalt Drill Bit -mcmaster PN# 28765A34 (for .30)
NOTE:
Converting a solvent trap into a suppressor with out an approved ATF Form 1 is a felony.

This thing is great. I can’t imagine trying to free-hand the multiple cuts needed to complete the baffles and end-caps without it. I have a $20 vise that isn’t mounted on anything. I locked the drilling-fixture in the $20 vise, and stood on the ears of the vise to keep the vise from spinning. I was able to drill the baffles and the end cap in about 30 minutes. I took my time, allowing the drill-bit to cool, and quenching in oil to keep from burning up the bit. Do note that the fixture is only correct for one caliber or the other. The hardened guide-cap in the fixture is either 5.56 or .30. You have to pick one.
